My name is Julia Bockius, and I am currently a Graphic Design major at the University of Maryland Global Campus. I have previous education from Harford Community College and Towson University. I am also very grateful for the marketing experience I gained during my internship at Red Ball Consultants. I have developed a keen eye for design and a deep appreciation for art over the past few years. As an Artist and Graphic Designer, I believe that the forms and colors that we use have the power to communicate with others and express our personalities, values, and ideas. Education
2019-2021
Harford Community College
My first two years at college were at HCC. This is where I first learned about design and each program that most graphic designers use. I was able to earn my associate's degree here.
2021-2023
Towson University
Eventually, I transferred to Towson University to earn my BFA. I truly learned a lot from the professors and classes I attended. I learned about new programs and techniques and I met so many great designers who have impacted and inspired the work that I have created today.
2023-2024
The University of Maryland's Global Campus
I decided to transfer to UMGC to finish my last few classes. It was a hard choice, but it was simply better for flexibility. I was able to be enrolled while working to earn and save money. I am planning to graduate in July 2024.
